Winter weather for me gets kind of old once it hits. Styling my clothes usually means overpowering it with an oversized sweater or coat and then calling it a day. I wore all my boots and cropped sweaters during the Fall season so none if it seems as appealing as it once did in October.
This year, I’ve decided to make an attempt to form a stronger plan for the winter months so it strengthens my interest in outfit planning and in turn provides a more confident wardrobe for me.
Here are a couple outfits I’ve put together to embrace the barren and bleak forecast.
The Dreamy Oversized Coat
This is the Faux Shearling Shirt Jacket from H&M. I love how cute and versatile it can be. It can easily be worn with a dressier outfit as well as with a more casual ensemble.

Soft Sweater Weather
Okay so we can all agree that the softer the sweaters are in January, the better life is. I have collected soft sweaters over the years and I find myself loving them more and more every winter. They make an outfit feel snug, look cute, and can appear effortless. Unfortunately, I don’t have any further details for this jacket, as it was a birthday gift, but I’ll do some research and update its identity promptly!
My favorite trend so far! I love these pants from H&M so much I got them in pink! I love the set and how versatile the whole outfit can be. I love wearing these pants with several other pieces in my closet.
My favorite way to wear these boots are with anything oversized & some chic leggings. This so far has been one of my favorite outfits and truly loved embracing the platform boots this winter.
Can’t forget about the snow outfit for January! We actually don’t ever get snow here, but when we do we live for it. This outfit was a last minute find simply because I didn’t think we would get any accumulation. Again, the chunky Doc Martens make an appearance because they make the easiest outfits instantly more interesting. I really am more in love with baby Naomi’s outfit. She is wearing a warm, Sherpa bodysuit from Old Navy, a beige knitted beanie from H&M, and some soft, white Ugg booties.
